2010 Caucus Central – Polk GOP Call To Caucus

The 2010 Iowa Caucus will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 1:00 PM.  All registered Republicans are welcome to participate, and you can register at the caucus if you are not already registered as a Republican in your precinct.

The Precinct caucuses will perform the following functions:

1. Elect 2 persons, Republican residents of the precinct to serve on the County Central Committee.
2. Elect delegates and alternate delegates to the Polk County Republican Convention held on Saturday, March 6, 2010.
3. Propose and vote on platform planks to send on to the County Convention.

Your Polk County Republican Precinct Caucus will be held in the same building as other precincts in your Iowa House District. District 69 will use two locations, and all other districts will meet in one location. Some locations will have a single room with separate tables for each precinct to meet, other locations may have separate rooms for each precinct. Please look for signs as you enter the building.
