walk.”  He is the only Iowa member of  powerful House Appropriations Committee where
he is considered one of the most influential members of Congress.   Congressman Latham has announced his
intentions to move his residence to the new 4^th Congressional
District which will include Des Moines and Polk County.

POLK COUNTY CANDIDATE FOR SHERIFF,

A 21 year law
enforcement veteran with sixteen years on the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.     Dan Is a
Veteran honorably discharged from the U. S. Army 7^th ID Light
Infantry, Ft Ord, California.  Before moving back to Iowa with his family,  Dan served with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept and the
Pamona Police Department.  He is a
graduate of Grand View Park Baptist High School, Ankeny Faith Baptist Bible College & School of Theology and the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. This impressive young professional law enforcement officer is running
for Sheriff in Polk County and we are impressed with his very active campaign. He will introduce
himself and make brief remarks at the close of the breakfast.
