The first meeting of the Platform Committee, which is open to all of those who were elected to represent their precincts, will be held on Tuesday, January 26 2010 at 7:00 PM, at the Northwest Community Center.  The address is 5110 Franklin Avenue in Des Moines.  Please see the map below.

Jim Frogue, Director of State Policy for the Center for Health Transformation, will be a guest speaker at our meeting. He will be talking about the Health Care Bill before Congress. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about this bill and what we can do to prevent a government takeover of our Health System!
