• All 2008-2010 Central Committee members access to secured site areas will be removed effective immediately.
• All 2010-2012 Central Committee members who have existing accounts on the site will be re-added by the end of the week (Jan 30).  We apologize for any inconvenience this may create.
• Executive Committee members, Polk GOP Committee Chairs and Officers will not have their access impacted.

This Tuesday, January 12, the Governor Branstad 2010 Committee will unveil their innovative new web site – and you are invited! It will be held at Graze Restaurant at West Glen, next to the Super Target in West Des Moines.

This event is unlike any other – complete with an HD television demonstration of the new web site, a laptop computer bank for you to sign up on our social networking site, and a great chance to meet and mingle with fellow Branstad supporters!

So, please join Governor Branstad for some free food at Graze after work, and check out the new site. There is no charge to attend this event.

Polk County GOP had a Caucus Temporary Chair Training session scheduled for tonight at 5:30… that session is cancelled.  There are two sessions scheduled for next week (Tuesday Jan 12 at 7:00 PM and Saturday Jan 16 at 10:00 AM).  Another session may yet be scheduled as well, but if you can attend one of next week’s sessions, please do.  Look for updates here or see the Polk County GOP Calendar here.

The biggest event is the Republican Party of Iowa “Leadership For Iowa”, which will be held the the Iowa State Fairgrounds starting at 5:00 PM.  Tickets are $25.  Tim Pawlenty, Governor of Minnesota, will be the featured guest.  More information at www.iowagop.org.  All of the candidates for Governor plan to attend, and Terry Branstad will be holding an open house and rally at his new headquarters (3590 109th Street, Urbandale) at 4:00.

There are hundreds of activists expected at this event.  We hope to see you there!!!
